Grandparents

We love our Grandparents!

Grandparents are an important part of our community!

Throughout the year, we host several events where grandparents are invited, and one special day that’s just for them. It’s hard to tell who loves these days more – the children or their grandparents!

CAS enjoys keeping our grandparents involved whether they are near or far.

Staying Informed:
CAS publishes a weekly e-newsletter that is sent to all families on Sunday mornings. If you are interested in receiving these newsletters by email, please contact our Director of Marketing, Jen Hanley at [email protected] and she will gladly add you to our distribution list. CAS shares a lot of fun and interesting peeks into the community through social media. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram!

Grandparents Day:
Grandparents Day is an annual celebration filled with singing, laughter and excitement as our students welcome their grandparents to our campus. This year, our students in Prek3-2nd grade and their families will celebrate a special Mass and reception on May 9th in the Church of St. Cecilia. For more information, please contact [email protected].

Service Program:
Our school wide service program is integrated in all grades from Prek3-8th grade to give back in many ways to our community. Grades Prek3-2nd grade actually focus specifically on learning the value and contribution of the elderly in our community. Students in Prek3-K participate in various activities dedicated to the special gifts our grandparents give us. Service Program e-book

Volunteering and Virtus:
Many grandparents are welcomed to lend their helping hands throughout the year inside our school for special events throughout the year. If you are interested in volunteering, please note you must be Virtus trained and can send a note to [email protected] or [email protected] for a list of opportunities throughout the year.
