Our focus, as a Board of Directors, is to set a course - a vision for our school and all it is to become. It’s our responsibility to ensure CAS has the tools and resources to fulfill our stated mission to provide a superior education, in a safe, nurturing environment.

We also, through advancement and fundraising efforts, ensure the annual budget is met and health of our school ensured, as well as the long-term viability of its institution achieved.

The Catholic Academy of Stamford would like to thank Mr. Gene Alvarez and Mrs. Beth Adamson for their years of service on the CAS Board of Directors! Gene served for over 15 years and Beth served for 6 years. They both retired from their positions in June 2023.

"Gene Alvarez has served on our Board of Directors from day #1 when the Catholic Academy of Stamford was formed in July of 2017.  He has brought his expertise to our board in the area of marketing in a very professional manner.  I am grateful to Gene for the generous sharing of his time and talents with the Academy and the Board of Directors for the past six years." - Miss Brady (See Gene's Letter Here)

"Beth has served on our Board of Directors from day #1 when the Catholic Academy of Stamford was formed in July of 2017.  She served as Secretary for the past 6 years and was the chairperson of our Strategic Planning process.  I am grateful to Beth for all she did to further the mission of the Catholic Academy of Stamford." - Miss Brady
