Teaching Gospel Values

At The Catholic Academy of Stamford, we are first and foremost a Catholic school and therefore place daily importance on the mission of teaching Gospel values to our students. We form hearts, inform minds and transform lives through the daily practice of genuine Catholic Christian faith and exercise.

We are forming hearts in our values-centered, faith-based community.

We are informing minds with personalized learning that ensures the development of each student’s God-given gifts and talents.

We are transforming lives by empowering our students to be the best of who they are meant to be. transforming lives by empowering our students to be the best of who they are meant to be

Throughout the Diocese of Bridgeport, all schools strive to be authentically Catholic by keeping Christ as the central focus in the daily lives of its students. By strengthening the faith development of students, their families, and the school staff, we are creating communities of people who actively live out the Gospel values in their daily interactions.

The teaching mission includes inviting young people to a relationship with Jesus Christ or deepening an existing relationship with Jesus, inserting young people into the life of the Church, and assisting young people to see and understand the role of faith in one’s daily life and in the larger society.

As the Mission Statement of the Catholic Academy of Stamford proudly states, we are teaching our students to love God, learning and each other.
