5th Grade Teacher
I am proud to be an educator in the Diocese of Bridgeport and at The Catholic Academy of Stamford..
Though I was not raised in a Catholic household, I became a Catholic by choice and, in a sense, by adoption. As an undergraduate at the University of Connecticut, I spent two years abroad in Florence, Italy to study the language and art. Through this experience, I was greatly influenced by the Catholic faith and the Italian culture. During this time, I also met my husband, Francesco. After we married, I lived in Italy for fifteen years. Several years ago, together with my three Italian born children, we relocated to Connecticut.
While living in Italy, I taught English to students of all ages, and grew to love teaching; particularly teaching children. I enjoy sharing my experiences, faith and knowledge with my students.
